Please Note: When Contacting the Club Committee Members, Coaches etc. Your courtesy and understanding would be appreciated. All committee members are unpaid voluntary workers who fit in up to 20 hours a week over and above their normal working week. Some of our volunteers continue to do this year after year without feeling any need for monetary compensation. Feel free to contact committee members or coaches for assistance if you need to but abusive phone calls and emails to committee members and coaches are not acceptable, we are all doing our best to organize the over 600 playing members into over 55 teams. You are welcome to volunteer to assist also if you wish to please email us to express your interest. Thanks the Committee

Cashmere First Team Kicks off Campaign Good luck to Tim Bush and the Wanderers First Team when they commence their 2005 Canterbury League campaign on Saturday. Up against a youthful University Team, Cashmere kicks off at Somerfield Park at 2.30pm, with Geordie Dann from the Super Youth Team playing in the striking role. Geordie is part of a large contingent of Christchurch United players who comprise the Cashmere United Super Youth Team. Ron Veitch the 2005 Team Coach said “Geordie has the size and pace do well at this level and I’m sure he will fit into the team pattern easily in this role. It is good that Tim is considering players from our team as it sends out the signal to the Super Youth players that there is a clearly identifiable pathway to senior football with Cashmere. The Super Youth Team themselves have a pre season match against Halswell United at “The Nest” on Saturday at 12.00. Veitch said “we are looking to improve on the sorry display we put up against the CBHS Academy Team some weeks back. We have been working hard on our fitness and ball retention and Saturday’s match will be a good measuring stick for us.”
